Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

These terms govern your use of Rightly — the website at rightly.co.in and the Rightly mobile application (together, the "Platform"), operated by Rightly ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these terms.

1. What Rightly is — and isn't

Rightly is a technology platform that connects people seeking therapy with independent, verified mental-health professionals — psychologists, counselling psychologists and psychotherapists ("Therapists") — for paid chat and voice sessions.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Rightly. By using the Platform you confirm that you are 18 or older and capable of entering into a binding agreement.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account secure. Notify us at hello@rightly.co.in if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Sessions, payments and wallet

5. Confidentiality and its limits

Sessions are private between you and your Therapist. However, Therapists are ethically and legally obliged to act if they believe there is a serious risk of harm to you or another person — which may include involving emergency services or authorities. See our Privacy Policy for how session data is handled.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: harass, threaten or abuse Therapists or other users; record sessions without consent; attempt to contact Therapists outside the Platform to circumvent it; misrepresent your identity; use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; or interfere with its operation.

7. For Therapists

Therapists must hold the qualifications they claim, maintain any professional registration applicable to their title, provide accurate credentials, and comply with the professional and ethical standards applicable to their practice. Misrepresenting credentials results in immediate removal and may be reported to the relevant authorities. Payout terms and commission are set out at onboarding.

8. Intellectual property

The Platform, including its design, code, branding and content (excluding your session content), belongs to Rightly. You may not copy, modify or distribute it without our written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rightly's liability arising out of or relating to the Platform is limited to the amount you paid to Rightly in the three months preceding the claim. Rightly is not liable for the acts or omissions of independent Therapists, though we take verification and platform safety seriously and will investigate reports made to hello@rightly.co.in.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put other users at risk. You can stop using Rightly and request account deletion at any time.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Platform evolves. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the current version.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the company's registered location shall have jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
